Eurowings is the low-cost airline from the Lufthansa Group and it specialises in bargain direct flights within Europe and from Cologne/Bonn, Munich and Dusseldorf to attractive destinations further afield. 

Now Eurowings comes with the 2nd edition of its very successful campaign “Vote and Fly”. There are six destinations being nominated and people can vote online from 6th March 12th March on the website http://www.vote-and-fly.com/. Then the top three destinations will compete in the final which will take place live on Facebook on 13th March 2018. 

Most of all, Kosice is one of the nominated destinations! This means that the gateway to Eastern Slovakia now has the chance to get a scheduled route with Eurowings starting from October 2018! But it all depends on if it gets enough votes. Competitors of Košice are Aarhus, Cork, Friedrichshafen, Ljubljana and Stavanger. 

Chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Košice International Airport Michael Tmej said: „We are thrilled that after negotiations Eurowings has included Kosice in this year´s edition of Vote & Fly.
