Ryanair, the largest airline in Europe, comes to Košice. The Irish carrier that transported more than 130 million passengers in 2017 will fly to Košice from its newest base in London Southend Airport. The route will commence as of the summer schedule 2019 and it will be operated by Boeing 737‐800 aircraft with 189 seats three times per week. The first flight of Ryanair from Košice will depart on 2nd April 2019. Tickets from 24,99 EUR (one way including cabin baggage) will be on sale on www.ryanair.com from 15th June 2018.

Ryanair operates more than 2000 flights per day with its modern fleet of more than 430 Boeing 737s with a further 240 on order. London Southend Airport is located on the Essex coast. It is one of the UK´s fastest growing regional airports. There are up to 8 trains per hour from the airport to the London Liverpool Street Station which makes it very easy for passengers to get to London, one of the world´s most important capitals.
