A total of 97,066 passengers were processed on all flights during July 2023 which is 1.4% more than in the previous year. In the first seven months of the year, the employees of Košice Airport processed 344,876 passengers. This represents a year-on-year increase of up to 19%, and compared to the pre-COVID year 2019, it's a growth of 9%.

Over 243,000 passengers used regular direct routes to one of the seven destinations (Dublin, Liverpool, London Luton, London Stansted, Prague, Warsaw, Vienna) from or to Košice. Additionally, nearly 100,000 passengers flew to or from Košice on charter flights, and the remaining less than two thousand passengers utilized general aviation flights.

"We are pleased to see that the interest in flying from Košice continues to grow, as evidenced by exceptionaly high July numbers. Another positive fact is that during the ongoing summer season, we are recording passengers at our airport not only from the Košice and Prešov regions but also from central and northern Slovakia, which we greatly appreciate."

The summer holiday season at Košice Airport has been in full swing since June 2023. Travel agencies offer ten destinations in eight countries for the tours departing from Košice: in Turkey (Antalya), Bulgaria (Burgas), Greece (Heraklion, Rhodes), Croatia (Brač), Egypt (Hurghada, Marsa Matruh), Tunisia (Monastir), Cyprus (Larnaca), and Italy (Lamezia Terme). New destinations that were not previously avaliable from Košice include the Croatian island Brač and the Egyptian resort Marsa Matruh.

• LOT Polish Airlines operates 6 flights per week to Warsaw and further within their wide network of destinations in Europe, the USA, Canada, Asia, and Africa.
• Austrian Airlines operates 7 flights per week to Vienna and further within their wide network of destinations in Europe, the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean.
• Ryanair to the following destinations: London Stansted (5 flights per week), Prague (4 flights per week), Liverpool (2 flights per week), Dublin (2 flights per week).
• Wizz Air operates flights to London Luton (5 flights per week).
