Eurowings is the low-cost airline from the Lufthansa Group which was announced as the best German airline in 2017. Eurowings flies to more than 160 destinations in 50 countries.

Last week Eurowings announced the 2nd edition of the highly popular competition “Vote & Fly”. After six days of voting online Cork, Friedrichshafen and KOŠICE made it to the final!

The final will take place live on the Facebook page of Eurowings tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday 13th March 2018 between 15:00 and 16:00. The destinations with the highest number of the votes will get a new scheduled route from Eurowings starting from the winter schedule 2018/2019.

Chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Košice International Airport Michael Tmej said: „Hereby I would like to thank to everybody who voted for Košice in the first round of the Eurowings competition “Vote & Fly”. We are very thankful and excited that Košice made it to the final. So once again I would like to kindly ask for the votes in the final tomorrow between 15:00 – 16:00 on the Eurowings Facebook page.
